Elizabeth Emaline Briscoe born: 12 Mar 1822 in Morgan Co., Alabama. died: 5 Mar 1915 in Rock Springs, Mills Co., Texas.    She married on 24 Oct 1841 in Sevier Co., Arkansas, Hamilton J. Props born 22 Jul 1823 in Hempstead Co, AR  died: 11 Jun 1872 in Atascosa Co, TX He was buried in the Rock Church Cemetery in Wilson Co, TX which was later renamed Fairview Cemetery.  He was the son of Rev. John Harpole Props and Caroline Fatima Scobey.   She was 93 when she passed away and had been an  in a wheelchair for the last 14 years of her life. It was said that she was a “shouting Methodist” ,  she despised her son in law WW Westerman and never failed To rail against him at every opportunity, even though she lived in his house.
